Community Services Unlimited Urban Gardening Non Sibi Project
Saturday, April 29, 2023
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Expo Mini Urban Farm, 3990 South Bill Robertson Lane, Los Angeles, CA 90037
Community Services Unlimited is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing residents of South Los Angeles with access to healthy and affordable foods. Andover volunteers will be working at CSU's Expo Mini Urban Farm to help harvest produce, weed, and/or clean-up the farm. Please make sure to wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Please wear closed shoes (no flip flops or sandals). Please bring a hat, plenty of sunblock and water in a durable container (disposable plastic water bottles are not allowed in the Expo Mini Urban Farm). Potable water is available at the Expo Mini Urban Farm for refilling containers.
For those who would like to join us afterwards, we will be having lunch at Mercado La Paloma, a nearby community marketplace which has a food court with a number of dining options.
This is a family-friendly event; children and friends of all ages are welcome to participate!
